LMCA President Arceneaux Joins LaMATS Board
Continuing the longtime representation of Municipal Clerks on the LaMATS Board of Directors, Louisiana Municipal Clerks Association President Veronica L. Arceneaux, MPA, LCMC (Lafayette Clerk of the Council) has accepted the Board’s invitation to fill the vacancy made by the retirement of Gay Nell Pepper.
“Our partnership with Louisiana’s hard-working Clerks is essential to LaMATS,” said Executive Director Cliff Palmer. “They are at the heart of local government, and we’re extremely fortunate to have President Arceneaux’s guidance as we deliver and expand our municipal services.”
Board President Mayor David C. Butler, II, praised outgoing member Gay Nell Pepper as, “a leader in her profession, and a dear friend.” Adding, “On behalf of the Board of Directors, we welcome Mrs. Arceneaux and her years of professional expertise to the board.”
