Louisiana Cooperative Purchasing Commission (LACPC)Welcomes New Member

This month the LACPC welcomes into its membership Assumption Parish Recreation District No. 2, representing the communities of Pierre Part and Belle River. The District's focus is on improving lives and community by providing outdoor spaces to play and exercise; facilities for self-directed and organized recreation; positive alternatives for youth; and activities that facilitate social connections, human development and lifelong learning.

The LACPC is a participant-directed cooperative joint commission for Louisiana municipalities and local political subdivisions, through which members cooperate and administer purchasing of materials, supplies and equipment. All Louisiana local governments may join, free of charge or obligation, by passing the appropriate resolution and appointing a commission representative.
