Thank You, Mayor Rodgers!
LaMATS Immediate Past President & LMA First Vice President Mayor Jennifer Vidrine and LaMATS Executive Director Cliff Palmer visited the Town of Stonewall recently to thank retiring Mayor Randy Rodgers and his staff for their support of LaMATS services and programs.
Mayor Rodgers provided a tour of the beautiful government complex constructed in 2019 by the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s office that provides offices to the town, Clerk of Court, and satellite operations for the sheriff. The complex also has a designated “Exchange Zone” that gives parents and residents conducting transactions a safe place to meet under the watchful eye of the Sheriff’s Office.
Mayor Vidrine praised Mayor Rodgers for his years of service to the residents of Stonewall and the LMA membership while serving as a Board member.
“Mayor Rodgers and his lovely wife, Pam, have wonderful servant hearts that have made a significant impact on their quaint community of Stonewall. I will miss his gentle and calming presence at the LMA, not to mention his friendly 'Santa Claus' looks, and wish them Godspeed and great happiness in their retirement.”
